Yesterday, the SFC seniors gathered at Golden Corral for their annual lunch together and everybody had a wonderful time. One of the many strengths of SFC is our seniors who really put their heart into the church and it creates a very supportive environment. This could be felt at the seniors lunch where everyone was a part of the church family. During the holiday season, there are many people who are often felt left out of society, especially the seniors, but SFC put a great deal of effort in making everybody know they are of one body of Christ here.

The seniors invited the SFC Staff and family and it was a pleasure being there food was good and the fellowship was, as one friend likes to say, a foretaste of heaven. Dianna Elledge presented the staff with wonderful gifts and also to the other seniors which was very kind of her. At the same time, the Seniors gave her a gift certificate to her favorite store, JC Pennys, for all the effort she puts into the ministry. (Click on picture to get full group)

Seniors Lunch

Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body and one Spirit–just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call– (5) one Lord, one faith, one baptism, (6) one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Indeed, there is one family of God at SFC!

Grace and peace,
